Student Observation Deck

Our 40' x 40' student observation deck includes cement piers that are buried into the ground for maximum stability for telescopes. Additionally, AC power outlets are installed on each pier for powered telescope mounts. 

Angled wedges allow for mounting the telescopes as equatorial mounts, which offers more tracking stability than azimuth mounts. The Azimuth axis becomes the Right Ascension (RA) axis, and the Altitude axis becomes the Declination (DEC) axis.
