The TAMU Physics & Astronomy Teaching Observatory is CLOSED to the public and students unless an event states otherwise.
Obey all posted speed signs!
People work, walk, jog, and bike along these roads. Additionally, wildlife frequent the area.
Nuclear Science Rd (around the airport): 35 mph
Observatory Rd (gravel road): 15 mph and 10 mph as posted
1. Turn onto George Bush Dr from Harvey Mitchell Pkwy
2. Turn left on Nuclear Science Rd
3. Follow Nuclear Science Rd around the airport
4. Turn left at the Nuclear Science Center onto a gravel road
5. Turn left again (away from the Nuclear Science Center entrance)
6. Follow the gravel road past the gate and past the Ecology & Natural Resources Teaching Area
7. The road will end in the parking lot of the TAMU Physics & Astronomy Observatory
