Directions
- Traveling West on George Bush Dr.
- Cross over FM 2818.
- Turn Left on Nuclear Science Rd.
- Follow Nuclear Science Rd around airport.
- Turn Left at the Nuclear Science Center
- Note: If you reach a large chain-link gate with three red diamond shaped signs attached, you've gone too far and missed the turn to the Nuclear Science Center. Go back about 200 yards. The nuclear reactor is visible from Nuclear Science Road.
- Continue to the left. The road will become unpaved.
- Note: If you reach a large chain-link gate with a stop sign in the middle, you're in front of the Nuclear Science Center. Back up about 50 yards, then turn left and continue to the unpaved road leading to the observatory.
- Follow the unpaved road passed the main "white" gate.
- Turn right at the open pavilion (open gray implement shed).
- Continue to the observatory parking area.
